This policy explains what personal data GoEuroTaxi collects when you book a ride or use our website, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the GDPR.
Who we are
GoEuroTaxi is the data controller for the personal data described here. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us using the details in the website footer.
What we collect
Booking details: pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time, passenger count, luggage, and optional flight number.
Contact details: name, email address and phone number for you and, where relevant, the passenger.
Payment data: handled by our payment provider Stripe. Card numbers never reach or are stored on our servers.
Account data: if you log in, a secure session and any GoEuroTaxi travel credit balance.
How we use your data
To provide and manage your transfer, process payment, send confirmations and updates, and meet our legal and tax obligations.
Legal bases (GDPR)
We rely on performance of your booking contract, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, your consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
The driver or subcontracted operator fulfilling your ride; Stripe for payment; SendGrid for transactional email; and Google for route and distance calculation. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We retain booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service and to satisfy legal, accounting and tax requirements, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
Authentication tokens are stored in httpOnly cookies and never exposed to JavaScript. Card data is fully outsourced to Stripe (PCI-compliant). Connections are encrypted in transit.
